Subject: Big Bend Tx training? or elsewhere
We are looking at going to Big Bend for a week as we have some days off. Trail running and mt biking seem to be an easy find, but has anyone ridden the area on a tri bike? Are there good roads to ride? If not Big Bend, anyone have suggestions for somewhere else within 6 hours driving from Dallas?

Big Bend offers excellent opportunities for trail running and mountain biking, but riding a tri bike might be challenging due to rugged terrain. However, there are scenic roads suitable for cycling enthusiasts. If Big Bend isn't your ideal spot, consider destinations like Palo Duro Canyon or Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge within a 6-hour drive from Dallas, offering diverse landscapes for outdoor adventures.
